Job Description

Preparation and production of baked goods and pastries according to approved recipes and standards, while maintaining product quality, food safety, and operational efficiency.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation, setup, and production of various types of baked goods and pastries.
  • Weighing and mixing ingredients according to approved recipes.
  • Operating and monitoring ovens and bakery equipment.
  • Monitoring product quality and ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and tools.
  • Adhering to food safety and hygiene procedures.
  • Monitoring inventory and reporting raw material needs.
  • Storing materials and products correctly according to safety standards.
  • Contributing to waste reduction and maintaining production quality.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least two years of experience in baking or pastry and baked goods production.
  • Knowledge of the basics of fermentation, kneading, and baking.
  • Familiarity with food safety and storage standards.

Required Skills:

  • Accuracy in measuring and preparing recipes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to production schedules.
  • Skill in operating bakery equipment and ovens.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

Requirements

  • GOSI Registration Required or Sponsorship Transfer
  • Requires 2-5 Years experience
