Your Main Tasks And Responsibilities:

• Identify and select qualified suppliers for electrical materials, negotiating contracts and pricing.
• Review and assess technical specifications of electrical components to ensure compliance with project needs.
• Manage procurement budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving strategies for electrical items.
• Coordinate with suppliers and project teams to ensure timely delivery and avoid project delays.
• Ensure all electrical products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify procurement risks, maintain documentation, and implement mitigation strategies for supply chain issues.

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need:

• 35 years’ experience.
• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline; CIPS preferred.
• Languages: English - Arabic.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge of SAP system.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented purchasing specialist to manage our company's procurement activities. As part of the Laverne Group, a leading perfume company that creates modern scents rooted in Middle Eastern culture, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and ensuring that our products meet specific technical specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Research and identify prospective suppliers.
• Liaise with internal project teams and maintain strong supplier relations.
• Evaluate products and suppliers according to key business criteria.
• Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or concerns.
• Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve any shortcomings.
• Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with sourcing strategies.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate inventory and procurement records.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience as a purchasing specialist or in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a similar field preferred.
• CPM or APICS certification preferred.
• Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business application software.
• Proficient in English.
