About the Role:The Events Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating all facets of event planning. Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating venue selection, logistics, catering, and audiovisual needs.
- Maintaining strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and event partners.
- Creating and managing event budgets with a focus on cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Collaborating with internal teams to meet event objectives.
- Conducting site inspections and negotiating contracts.
- Innovating event concepts that resonate with clients and brand identity.
- Managing on-site operations and problem-solving as needed.
- Preparing detailed reports post-event for stakeholders.
- Adhering to safety regulations and company policies throughout all phases of event management.
Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have:
- A diploma in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or Events Management.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in event coordination, or 1 year in a similar role with proven success.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills capable of multitasking.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- A flexible schedule to accommodate evening and weekend events.
- Experience with event management software is a plus.
