Are you passionate about language and precision? Buro Happold is seeking a skilled Translator & Proofreader to deliver high-quality Arabic-English translations across various technical and non-technical content.
Your Responsibilities:
- Translate documents such as technical reports, contracts, and manuals between Arabic and English, ensuring accuracy and tone are preserved.
- Review and proofread translated materials to eliminate errors.
- Interpret complex terminology clearly in both languages.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers for clarity on terminology.
- Maintain terminology databases and translation memory tools.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in technical translation.
- Fluency in Arabic and English with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and translation software.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
