About the Senior Storekeeper Role

Abdul Hadi Abdullah Al-Qahtani & Sons Beverage Company (AQS-PEPSI) is seeking a Senior Storekeeper to join its team in Abha, 'Asir, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is essential for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth flow of beverage and supply inventory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all activities related to the receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking of beverages and supplies within the warehouse.
  • Lead and manage a team of storekeepers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Effectively manage inventory levels by implementing and monitoring stock thresholds, forecasting demand, and coordinating with the purchasing department for timely replenishment.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain stock accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Generate detailed reports on inventory levels, usage trends, and potential stockouts to support informed decision-making.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements to optimize inventory management and enhance warehouse efficiency.

  • Ensure SAP compliance for all inventory-related transactions and activities.
  • Execute FIFO/FEFO principles rigorously for stock rotation and to minimize obsolescence.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in storekeeping or warehouse management is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to lift and move moderately heavy objects as required.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage time efficiently, and consistently meet deadlines.
