About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated Safety Officer to join our team. The role is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving the company’s Safety Program while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the execution and continuous improvement of the company’s Safety Program.
  • Develop and update safety policies, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company standards.
  • Support implementation of safety management systems.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments.
  • Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor high-risk activities and ensure proper control measures are in place.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections and internal audits.
  • Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.
  • Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
  • Develop and deliver safety induction and refresher training programs.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture within the organization.
  • Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience in fleet management, logistics, or administrative support.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Communication skills in English - both writing and speech.

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in the upstream or downstream Oil & Gas industry, preferably with fixed gas detection systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capability to work in remote areas and understand gas detection technical manuals.
  • Experience with devices such as Drager-7000, Honeywell series, and Detcon DM 700 Series.
