About the Facility Management Engineer Role
A Confidential Government entity is seeking a Facility Management Engineer to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This full-time position requires an experienced professional to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of building systems and facilities.
Role Overview
The Facility Management Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and reliability of building systems. This role involves conducting inspections, resolving technical issues, and ensuring adherence to all safety and quality standards. The engineer will play a key part in supporting the overall functionality and upkeep of the facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain essential building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
- Review and approve technical submittals, drawings, and maintenance procedures.
- Coordinate effectively with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for repair and preventive maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot system failures, diagnose issues, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant safety regulations, codes, and company standards.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving energy efficiency and promoting sustainability within the facilities.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and maintain accurate documentation of all FM activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Facility Engineering.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in facility operations or maintenance engineering.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and established facility management best practices.
- Proficiency in using CAFM/CMMS systems and relevant engineering software.

Candidates must possess strong analytical capabilities, effective communication skills, and proven problem-solving abilities to successfully manage the diverse challenges of facility operations.
Work Location and Type
This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, within the Eastern Province.
