The Role: Procurement Engineer

EHT Construction is seeking a Procurement Engineer to join its team in Al Khobar. This is a full-time position requiring 0-1 years of experience, open exclusively to Saudi Nationals Only. The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement process, ensuring the efficient sourcing, selection, and purchasing of materials, equipment, and services for company projects and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential vendors and suppliers.
• Compare and evaluate offers from various suppliers to ensure optimal value.
• Negotiate contract terms, agreements, and pricing with vendors.
• Prepare quotations, purchase orders, and detailed reports as required.
• Conduct purchasing activities from both local and overseas markets.
• Perform estimation and pricing for potential projects.
• Implement cost control measures and track expenses upon activity completion.
• Coordinate and specify requirements between the procurement and operation teams.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of all procured items.
• Review the quality of purchased products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
• Update accounting records with expenses and track budgeting throughout projects.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven work experience of 0-1 years as a Procurement Engineer, Purchasing Officer, Buyer, or in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of vendor sourcing practices, including researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors.
• Solid understanding of supply chain procedures.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct comprehensive cost analyses.
• Effective negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for internal and external interactions.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Al Khobar, within the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. The role involves working collaboratively with various internal teams, including operations and accounting, to ensure seamless and efficient procurement processes.
