The Role of Procurement Officer

Rooqain Trading is seeking a Procurement Officer to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for managing the end-to-end purchasing process. The role focuses on acquiring project materials, equipment, and power solutions, and is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience in procurement or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify potential suppliers, solicit and evaluate quotations, and issue purchase orders.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Monitor supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery of materials in adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and conduct analysis of purchasing data to inform decisions.
• Coordinate closely with project, logistics, and finance teams to ensure procurement activities align with project timelines and budgetary constraints.
• Support the continuous improvement of procurement processes and ensure strict adherence to company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Procurement Officer position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. A foundational understanding of procurement principles and supply chain operations is beneficial for this role.
