About the Role

Solution Leaders Fayez Engineering is seeking a Senior Industrial Security Engineer to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to ensuring the security of large-scale industrial projects across the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, and infrastructure sectors. The role requires developing and implementing comprehensive industrial security strategies, providing technical leadership, and ensuring adherence to international codes and standards, with a strong emphasis on experience with mega-projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review industrial security engineering studies, design drawings, and documentation.
• Develop and review material and equipment specifications for industrial security systems.
• Resolve specialty-related industrial security engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards.
• Analyze complex problems, organize investigations, and determine specific design criteria.
• Recommend resource and specialized equipment increases as necessary.
• Advise and instruct team members on the use of new or specialized security procedures.
• Determine and schedule work priorities for industrial security engineering tasks.
• Revise design specifications and propose new alternative solutions for industrial security challenges.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to colleagues within the discipline.
• Organize and supervise work within a small unit, potentially comprising employees from own discipline or related specializations.
• Identify training and development needs for supervised employees.
• Approve timesheets for team members.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer.
• A minimum of 10 years of significant experience in industrial security engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries.
• Recognized as a specialist in industrial security engineering on large to mega-projects.
• Thorough knowledge of industrial security engineering practices and economic principles.
• Proficiency in calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications related to industrial security.

Required Skills

• Industrial Security Engineering
• A Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification is preferred.
