The Role
Galderma is seeking a Medical Representative (Injectable Aesthetics) to cover the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, involves engaging with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to educate them on Galderma’s aesthetic products and integrated dermatology solutions. The role requires a candidate with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute visits to HCPs according to target tiers to ensure consistent and effective engagement.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with dermatologists and designated medical professionals.
- Share medical updates, conduct scientific discussions, and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and presentations for HCPs.
- Organize and participate in workshops, hands-on training sessions, and scientific meetings to enhance HCP understanding of Galderma’s solutions.
- Educate HCPs on Galderma’s Integrated Dermatology Solutions (IDS) approach, emphasizing holistic treatment regimens.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align educational strategies and enhance HCP engagement.
- Implement and support the company’s educational marketing plans through various initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and HCP feedback to refine educational strategies.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of medical advancements and data in dermatology and aesthetics.
- Collect and report pharmacovigilance cases to HQ, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.
- Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements governing interactions with HCPs.
- Manage and allocate company resources effectively in collaboration with the Line Manager.
- Regularly review performance metrics and develop action plans with the manager for improvement.
- Submit activity and results reports, including daily reports, weekly plans, and monthly/annual territory analyses.
- Address HCP complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and providing recommendations to management.
- Apply an integrated dermatology strategy mindset in daily roles and responsibilities.
- Provide HCPs with tailored scientific information to support their practice and improve patient care.
- Strategically position Galderma products as part of a holistic treatment regimen to optimize outcomes and foster HCP loyalty.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Pharmacy, or an equivalent qualification.
- Licensed pharmacist, eligible to practice in KSA.
- Valid Healthcare License is mandatory.
- Saudi National is mandatory.
- Fluent in English, especially Business English (written, spoken, and presentations).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a multinational healthcare or pharmaceutical company, preferably within dermatology or aesthetics.
- Proven experience in engaging Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) through scientific discussions and training programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in the healthcare sector.
