We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional to oversee and manage all aspects of offshore jack up rig operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic input into overall business direction and translate strategy into operational goals and measurable objectives.
• Lead and manage day-to-day rig operations with a strong emphasis on safety, crew welfare, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee offshore rig activities to ensure contractual and safety obligations are fulfilled.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics, reporting performance against targets quarterly and annually.
• Ensure strict compliance with corporate policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
• Conduct regular rig visits and chair weekly management meetings to support operational execution.
• Manage rig hire contracts and maintain strong relationships with clients to maximize value.
• Support business development initiatives, including rig marketing, tendering, and client engagement.
• Provide leadership and support to Rig Managers and direct reports, including mentoring, coaching, and professional development.
• Plan rig scheduling and manage transitions for contract conclusions.
• Lead and support change initiatives and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure the health and safety of all offshore personnel in collaboration with the HSE Manager.
• Liaise with the corporate office on commercial matters, including tenders and proposals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of a high school diploma; additional technical or management qualifications preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in rig operations, with proven experience in an Operations Manager role.

About The Role
Noatum Maritime Services Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly committed and experienced Operations Manager to lead, coordinate, and optimize our port agency operations across all Saudi locations. This is a key leadership role with strategic, operational, and commercial responsibilities, ensuring excellence in service delivery and the development of our local market presence in our services.

Business Operations Management
- Provide strategic leadership and management of port operations.
- Ensure consistent quality, efficiency, and compliance across all locations.
- Regularly visit each branch to support local teams and address on-site challenges.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve operational performance.
- Manage and coach local teams to foster talent and accountability.
- Act as the primary liaison for operational issues, ensuring fast resolution.
- Maintain oversight of KPIs, profitability, and cost control.

Business Development & Strategy
- Support commercial efforts and client retention, especially in the tramp and husbandry segments.
- Identify and seize new commercial opportunities.
- Build trust-based relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.

People Management Responsibilities
- Lead with empathy and integrity, maintaining a strong team spirit.

Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience (5–8 years) in maritime operations in port agency.
- Previous leadership experience managing multiple teams.
- Fluent in English and Arabic; other languages are a plus.
- Based or willing to relocate to Dammam area.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commercially oriented with a focus on sales and client retention.
- High proficiency in standard IT tools (Office 365, ERP systems).
- Strong understanding of port operations and maritime regulations.
