Job Announcement | Purchasing Specialist (Saudi National)

The Arab Tree Company announces its desire to hire a Saudi national Purchasing Specialist to join its specialized team in afforestation and landscaping projects.

Main Tasks:

• Purchasing irrigation and agricultural materials and supplies.

• Supplying swimming pool and fountain supplies, including pumps, electrical, and mechanical materials.

• Dealing with suppliers of stones, marble, and other materials necessary for projects.

• Managing negotiation and contract processes and ensuring the best quality and price.

Conditions:

• The applicant must be a Saudi national.

• Experience of no less than 3 years in the field of purchasing, preferably in agriculture, contracting, or landscaping.

• The ability to research, analyze, and negotiate with suppliers.

• Proficiency in using computers and purchasing management software.

• Ensure safekeeping of all assets and materials.
• Maintain and update inventory and asset reports, ensuring accurate reconciliation.
• Prepare and follow up on Project Material requests with the Procurement Supervisor.
• Sourcing required material quotations from suppliers.
• Manage material issuance to the Project Team and client collection.
• Review design packages and prepare material requests in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly materials reports and forecasts for material requirements.
• Ensure all instruments are calibrated and valid.
• Track all project instruments and maintain a comprehensive log.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in construction or project management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented with effective organizational skills.
• Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

• A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a relevant field.

• Assist in sourcing suppliers and negotiating contracts.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within the procurement field.
