About the Role

Saudia Dairy & Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) is seeking a Full-time Sales Supervisor to join our team in Dammam. This role is central to managing a team of Salesmen and overseeing Sales & Distribution activities for assigned routes. The Sales Supervisor ensures that sales and secondary distribution operations align with company policies to achieve established sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Sales Strategy and Execution

• Assist the Area Sales Manager (ASM) or Branch Manager (BM) in setting sales targets, guiding, and motivating sales staff to effectively manage and control sales routes, aiming to realize sales targets within agreed costs and operational parameters.
• Optimize daily journey planning for the salesmen in the team, in cooperation with respective salesmen and in alignment with the ASM/BM, to plan customer routes efficiently and maximize productivity. The Sales Supervisor must be familiar with and recognized by customers across their areas of responsibility.
• Initiate and organize sales to new clients in assigned routes, aligned with relevant departments and in line with S&D plans, to increase sales.

Market and Customer Relations

• Obtain and maintain information regarding relevant sales and distribution channels and competitor activity throughout the area, sharing and agreeing with the ASM/BM for appropriate action.
• Execute agreements with Modern Trade / Wholesale customers (if applicable) in accordance with instructions and maintain good business relations with customer representatives in the designated area.
• Execute the approved company credit policy and ensure credit and collection management for all sales in the area, ensuring timely payments.

Team Leadership and Development

• Ensure the required number and quality of people, and people management in line with SADAFCO’s HR policies, to enable the realization of S&D targets. The Sales Supervisor must provide training for new recruits and current staff.
• Ensure all Sales staff are well trained and execute the company’s Replenishment program with excellence, ensuring products are available in the right quantity and are the freshest possible at all times as per the Replenishment system recommendations.
• On a daily basis, lead and conduct effective MSFA (Mobile Sales Force Automation) endorsements with each Salesman by reviewing daily performance and identifying opportunities to be actioned and followed up.
• Ensure that salesmen’s uniforms conform to company standards, to represent the company professionally and be recognized by customers.

Operational Compliance and Reporting

• Ensure monitoring of product shelf life at the point of sale, ensuring reserved product space is filled accordingly, no expired product is displayed, and rotation and wastage control are managed according to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure all company assets are well maintained and initiate repairs/replacements where necessary.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry, administration, and reporting for the Area in MSFA according to S&D policies and procedures.
• Ensure that vehicles are clean and tidy inside and out.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in sales supervision or a similar field.
