Sr Production Specialist

About the Role

Ecolab, a global developer of cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance products and services, is seeking a Sr Production Specialist. This full-time role is based in Dammam and involves managing and leading a shift responsible for all aspects of production operations. The specialist will oversee preparing (mixing), filling, packaging, and tote washing processes, ensuring adherence to production plans and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the production shift safely and in adherence to the production plan.
• Enter production data accurately into the warehouse management system.
• Report damages and discrepancies for accounting and record-keeping.
• Recommend and implement measures to improve departmental productivity (OEE, OPE), product quality, methods, and working conditions to minimize downtime.
• Follow TPM/continuous improvement principles and actively participate in Kaizens, 5S, TPM, Loss Analysis, and special projects.
• Proactively communicate maintenance needs, quality issues, or other situations impacting safety, quality, or productivity to the appropriate functional/department leader.
• Assist in training teammates and maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including good housekeeping for all plant areas with blenders.
• Complete regular cycle counts and manage inventory for the Production department.
• Keep equipment in good condition through cleaning, testing, and inspection.
• Follow and adhere to operation and Safety SOPs and good practices daily.
• Perform SAP tasks, including opening and closing process orders and printing labels correctly and timely.
• Ensure proper shift handover.
• Review preparation (mixing), filling, and packaging instructions at the beginning of line runs.
• Ensure the availability of correct raw and packaging materials.
• Oversee all line operations, including loading lines with empty containers, labeling, preparation (mixing), filling, capping, bar coder generation, taking samples, and maintaining area cleanliness and organization.
• Complete and document activities that measure quality and productivity accurately and timely, such as taking weights and performing basic quality tests.
• Enter results on paper or in computer systems (*, Process Order, CIL, Cleaning Logbook).
• Follow and adhere to Safety, quality, and production-related Work Instructions, Memos, and SOPs.
• Assist with line changeovers, including the collection of wash water.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant production environment.
• Ability to perform various tasks within the production department, excluding material handling, mixing, and bulk receiving/shipping.
