About the CNS/ATM Systems Advisor Role

FNRCO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNS/ATM Systems Advisor to join our Engineering Services team. This full-time position is based in the Makkah region, with primary locations in Jeddah and Makkah. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and enhancement of mission-critical Communication, Navigation, Surveillance, and Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) systems.

Role Overview

The CNS/ATM Systems Advisor will contribute to the strategic development and operational excellence of Air Navigation Services. This role involves leading complex engineering projects, translating operational needs into technical solutions, and ensuring the robust performance and resilience of vital aviation systems within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, design, and implementation of CNS/ATM systems and technical solutions.
  • Develop system strategies, roadmaps, and business cases for engineering projects.
  • Translate operational requirements into technical specifications, system designs, and implementation plans.
  • Review and approve technical proposals, system designs, and project scope of work.
  • Lead testing, commissioning, integration, and handover of new CNS/ATM systems.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, regulatory authorities, vendors, and international Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs).
  • Conduct impact assessments related to airspace changes and operational procedures.
  • Support system maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in cybersecurity assessments to strengthen system resilience.
  • Represent the organization in ICAO panels, regional forums, and international aviation conferences.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in Air Navigation Services (ANS).
  • Proven expertise in CNS/ATM systems, system engineering, design, testing, and commissioning.
  • Experience working with stakeholders, vendors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, ICAO standards, and CNS/ATM technologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to lead complex engineering projects and provide technical guidance.
