About the Dealer Sales Engineer Role

Daikin Middle East & Africa, a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Ltd., is seeking a Dealer Sales Engineer specializing in DX & VRV products. This full-time position, based in Jeddah, will focus on driving business growth through the dealer network in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia. The role requires 5-10 years of experience and serves as a critical link between Daikin and its dealer partners, blending technical expertise with commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of Daikin DX products, including Split, SkyAir, Ducted, VRV, and Packaged Systems, through the assigned dealer network.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets for bookings, revenue, margins, and collections.
  • Identify, appoint, and develop new dealers to expand market coverage and strengthen channel presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing dealers to increase loyalty and business volume.
  • Provide dealers with product selection, pricing, and technical guidance to facilitate deal closure.
  • Conduct regular dealer visits, joint customer meetings, and market visits to generate demand and track sales pipelines.
  • Ensure timely submission of quotations and follow-up for order conversion.
  • Monitor dealer performance and implement improvement plans to enhance productivity and sales efficiency.
  • Train dealer sales teams on Daikin products, applications, and competitive positioning.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Logistics, Finance, Service, Marketing) for smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure timely order processing, delivery coordination, and payment collection.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline data, and CRM updates.
  • Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and dealer events to increase brand visibility.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and channel management frameworks.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Dealer/Channel management for DX & VRV Products (Split, SkyAir, Ducted, VRV, and Packaged Systems) within the KSA market.
  • Strong technical knowledge of DX & VRV systems, including splits, ducted, and packaged units.
  • Proven experience working with dealer/distributor networks in the KSA market.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and managing channel partners.

Required Skills and Attributes

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing and negotiations.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good technical aptitude for supporting dealers on product selection and applications.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven, result-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are considered an advantage.
