About the Role

FNRCO is seeking a Digital Infrastructure & Cloud Lead to join our team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role focuses on delivering and operating the company's cloud and infrastructure platforms, ensuring stability, security, and reproducibility through hands-on provisioning, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and observability.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to enable reliable application delivery and resilient operations. This involves resolving complex incidents, reducing manual effort through automation, and maintaining operational knowledge for the infrastructure team. The Digital Infrastructure & Cloud Lead will be instrumental in ensuring environments are stable, secure, and reproducible.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain cloud and on-premise infrastructure using approved patterns and IaC templates, provisioning resources, networks, storage, and platform services.
• Deploy and validate environments for development, testing, staging, and production with repeatable pipelines, ensuring environment parity and reproducible builds.
• Develop and maintain IaC modules, automation scripts, and deployment pipelines to reduce manual steps, enable repeatability, and support self-service provisioning.
• Create and maintain automated operational playbooks for configuration drift remediation, automated patching, and self-healing to lower toil and speed recovery.
• Implement observability (metrics, logs, traces), build dashboards and alerts, and tune monitoring thresholds for proactive detection and rapid troubleshooting.
• Perform performance analysis and tuning (compute, storage, network), contribute to capacity forecasts, and support right-sizing efforts.
• Apply platform hardening, patching, backup, and recovery procedures; enforce configuration baselines and remediation actions to meet security requirements.
• Support disaster recovery exercises and backup verification; implement resilient deployment patterns (multi-AZ, failover).
• Act as an escalation point for complex incidents: triage, diagnose root cause, implement fixes or workarounds, and follow through to closure with documented Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Collaborate with application teams, integration owners, and third-party vendors to resolve cross-stack faults and reduce recurrence.
• Provide periodic operational updates to the Section Head on deployments, incidents, risks, and improvements.
• Maintain runbooks, configuration baselines, deployment playbooks, and change records; contribute to the team knowledge base and onboarding material.
• Conduct day-to-day activities while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes, considering leading practices, changes in the business environment, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant professional experience.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, with responsibilities covering operations in both Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves working within a dedicated infrastructure team, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
