About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking an Events Booking Center Sales Executive to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time position involves supporting sales operations and managing event bookings within the company.

Key Responsibilities

The Events Booking Center Sales Executive will be responsible for a range of administrative and sales support tasks. Key duties include:

  • Maintaining and updating information boards to keep employees informed of important events.
  • Providing assistance and guidance to team members who may be facing challenges with their job duties, such as low sales figures.
  • Assigning incoming leads, whether via calls or emails, to Sales Executives based on a rotation system.
  • Developing spreadsheets to organize information related to Sales and Marketing activities, including mailing lists and tour schedules.
  • Entering, retrieving, reconciling, and verifying data within sales software.
  • Contacting relevant individuals or departments to resolve guest inquiries, requests, or issues.
  • Promoting the brand image both internally and externally.
  • Utilizing sales techniques to maximize revenue and maintain guest loyalty, including up-selling.
  • Encouraging guests or callers to purchase or schedule preview packages and tours, and answering questions about property facilities and services.

Additional Duties

Further responsibilities within this role include:

  • Assisting management with employee-related tasks such as hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching. Serving as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
  • Reporting any accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions to management.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and professional appearance, and protecting company assets.
  • Anticipating and addressing guest service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and expressing genuine appreciation to guests.
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with others, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately, and answering telephones with appropriate etiquette.
  • Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards, and identifying opportunities to improve organizational quality.
  • Visually verifying information in various formats.
  • Performing tasks that involve moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Undertaking other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates for this position should meet the following criteria:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience is required.
  • No specific license or certification is mandatory for this role.

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, within the Delta Hotels and Resorts organization.
