We are looking for an experienced head of accounts to join our team, as part of our ambitious expansion plans in the e-commerce sector.

This role plays a pivotal position in leading financial operations and overseeing accounting performance, ensuring full compliance with local and international accounting standards. It also actively contributes to supporting the company's strategic growth by providing accurate financial analyses and reports that aid in the decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervising the preparation and auditing of financial statements and reports according to SOCPA/IFRS standards.
  • Leading and developing the accounting team, distributing tasks and overseeing daily financial performance.
  • Managing the complete accounting cycle, including accounts receivable and payable, cash, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Monitoring financial performance, analyzing results, and providing reports that support senior management.
  • Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Overseeing the application of financial systems and ERP in accordance with the requirements of the e-commerce sector.
  • Coordinating with external auditors and regulatory bodies regarding audits and tax obligations.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and preferably holding professional qualifications such as SOCPA or CPA.
  • At least 7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership position.
  • Proven experience in a work environment related to e-commerce or digital business.
  • Advanced practical knowledge in using Zoho Books for managing accounts and linking with other operational systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting systems and ERP.
  • High analytical capacity and decision-making based on data.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to build and guide high-performance teams.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written.

  • Own car is required.
