Job Objective:The HSE Manager plays a critical role in implementing and continually improving HSE practices at project sites, adhering to JGC Corporation's HSSE Policy goals of zero accidents, personal injuries, and property losses.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the primary point of contact for all HSE matters on site, reporting directly to the Site Manager.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 450*******and ISO 14******* standards.
- Lead HSE Management System programs and initiatives that promote a positive safety culture.
- Implement site-specific HSE policies and procedures effectively.
- Manage incident reporting and investigations, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
- Conduct safety meetings and collaborate with customers and subcontractors.
- Support emergency preparedness, including drills and actual emergencies.
Qualifications & Experience:- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or related fields.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (mandatory), NEBOSH Diploma preferred.
- At least 15 years of HSE experience, with 57 years in a senior role on large-scale projects.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin, Japanese, or Bahasa may be advantageous.
