We are seeking a dedicated Storekeeper to manage our storage operations effectively. As a leading packaging company, we require someone who can ensure smooth handling of materials and maintain inventory accuracy.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, unpack, and store incoming materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Issue materials and tools based on requisitions while maintaining detailed records.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean and safe storage area with proper labeling.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
  • Assist in preparation of materials for shipment.
  • Adhere to company safety procedures and policies.
  • Perform routine checks on stored items for damage or expiry.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks.

Job Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Storekeeper or Warehouse Assistant.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects.
  • Familiarity with inventory management principles.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid forklift operator certification is an advantage.

You should ideally have a degree in hospitality with prior experience in stores, purchasing, and receiving, preferably in a hotel environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and computer literacy are essential. Knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM is an asset.
