Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and stage merchandise by department, ensuring appropriate marking for placement in the facility.
  • Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts and complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
  • Manage low stock levels by notifying the manager/supervisor timely.
  • Store perishables properly, rotate stock, and inspect deliveries for freshness and quality.
  • Adhere to food safety and handling procedures in all food-related areas.
  • Organize and sanitize all areas including refrigerators and freezers, ensuring compliance with health standards.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management and complete required safety training.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or *** equivalent.
  • No related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience required.

Qualifications:
You should ideally have a degree in hospitality with prior experience in stores, purchasing, and receiving, preferably in a hotel environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and computer literacy are essential. Knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM is an asset.
