Taj HR is seeking a dedicated Forklift Mechanic to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of proven experience in forklift maintenance and repair. The role focuses on ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of various forklift trucks through expert technical diagnostics and repair.

Role Summary

The Forklift Mechanic will be responsible for comprehensive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of diverse forklift equipment. A key aspect of this role involves specializing in the overhaul and rebuilding of diesel, gasoline, and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) engines. The mechanic will uphold established quality, safety, and operational standards to ensure equipment readiness and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in various forklift trucks.
• Perform preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance on forklift equipment.
• Overhaul, rebuild, and recondition diesel, gasoline, and LPG engines according to manufacturer specifications.
• Dismantle, inspect, repair, and reassemble engine components, including pistons, crankshafts, and fuel systems.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair fuel, ignition, cooling, and exhaust systems.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic system faults, including pumps, cylinders, valves, and control units.
• Conduct performance testing and operational inspections post-maintenance to ensure equipment readiness.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment, testing instruments, and specialized maintenance tools effectively.
• Prepare detailed technical reports on identified faults, repairs performed, and maintenance activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to occupational health and safety regulations.
• Contribute to minimizing equipment downtime and enhancing operational efficiency and reliability.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of proven practical experience in forklift maintenance and repair.
• Demonstrated expertise in diesel, gasoline, and LPG engine overhaul and rebuilding.
• Strong knowledge of forklift hydraulic systems and their components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, service manuals, and operating documentation.
