About the Role

Golden Chicken Farms Co. is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our diesel-powered vehicle fleet.

Role Overview

The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for performing comprehensive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of diesel trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles. The primary goal is to ensure maximum vehicle availability and operational readiness, adhering to all safety standards and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and heavy vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system faults.
• Perform repairs and overhauls on engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, and steering components.
• Maintain and repair Mercedes-Benz and Volvo trucks and trailers.
• Execute periodic servicing according to manufacturer recommendations.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and company protocols.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs performed, and spare parts utilized.
• Liaise with the maintenance supervisor regarding major repair needs and spare parts procurement.
• Respond to and perform emergency breakdown repairs as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Possess strong knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics and repair techniques.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and repair documentation.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Mercedes-Benz and Volvo heavy vehicles and trailers.
• Required experience level: 5-10 years.

Work Requirements

Candidates must be capable of working independently and effectively under pressure. A willingness to work overtime or be on-call when operationally necessary is also required.
