About the Role
KUN Sports is seeking a Head of Personal Training to lead, develop, and govern the Personal Training function across all clubs. This full-time position is based in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and is responsible for ensuring Personal Training services are delivered consistently, professionally, and in alignment with company standards, revenue targets, member experience expectations, and fitness best practices. The role drives PT revenue performance, improves trainer productivity, sets PT standards, and supports trainer development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall Personal Training strategy, including PT programs, service models, sales approaches, and performance frameworks.
- Monitor Personal Training revenue performance against targets, analyzing sales, renewals, conversion rates, client retention, and trainer productivity.
- Establish and maintain company-wide Personal Training standards, guidelines, and service expectations, ensuring consistent application of consultation processes, assessments, and session delivery.
- Monitor the productivity and performance of Personal Trainers, identifying capability gaps and coordinating development plans.
- Support the development and improvement of PT packages, pricing structures, sales campaigns, and promotional activities.
- Provide technical and functional support to Area Managers, Branch Managers, Fitness Managers, and club teams.
- Prepare regular PT performance reports, dashboards, and analysis for management review.
- Ensure PT activities comply with company policies, member service standards, and health and safety requirements.
Personal Training Strategy and Performance
This role is accountable for developing and executing the Personal Training strategy in alignment with the company’s fitness, commercial, and operational objectives. It involves leading the creation of PT programs and service models, monitoring revenue performance against monthly and annual targets, and identifying underperforming areas or trainers to recommend corrective actions. The position also involves providing management with regular analysis on PT performance, risks, and opportunities.
Trainer Development and Quality Assurance
A key focus is on monitoring trainer productivity and performance, reviewing trainer-level KPIs, and identifying capability gaps. This includes coordinating development plans, supporting the design and delivery of technical and sales training programs, and providing technical guidance to trainers. The role also ensures the quality of PT service delivery across clubs, recommending improvements and supporting the enhancement of the member journey from consultation to package renewal.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, Exercise Science, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in fitness, personal training, gym operations, or similar service-based environments.
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in a supervisory, managerial, or multi-site fitness role.
- Experience in Personal Training sales, revenue management, trainer development, and PT service quality is preferred.
- Professional fitness certifications from recognized bodies are preferred.
- Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC fitness markets is an advantage.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Personal Training operations, fitness programming, client assessment, and safe training practices.
- Understanding of PT sales performance, revenue targets, and commission structures.
- Ability to analyze PT performance data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting skills.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
