Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and seating efficiently to optimize guest flow.
• Provide guests with menus and inform them about daily specials.
• Answer phone inquiries about the venue's services.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Collaborate with kitchen and wait staff for smooth service delivery.
• Handle guest complaints professionally, striving for resolution.
• Adjust seating arrangements as necessary based on dining room activity.
• Assist in training new staff on front-of-house procedures.
• Participate in team meetings focused on service improvements.

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm, friendly demeanor upon their arrival
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently, optimizing available space
• Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and assist with seating
• Collaborate with waitstaff, kitchen, and management to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and dining section
• Handle phone and online reservations, confirming bookings and managing the reservation system
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Stay informed about menu items, specials, and events to offer accurate information to guests
• Assist in organizing and coordinating special functions during busy periods or events
• Promote special offers and menu items to enhance guest experience and increase revenue
• Adhere to company policies and procedures related to customer service and hospitality

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar hospitality role
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English
• Cultural sensitivity and awareness, with knowledge of local customs in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
• Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in managing reservations and seating arrangements
• Basic math skills for table assignments and reservation management
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
