Dar Al Riyadh is seeking a qualified Hydraulic Inspector to join a high-profile Operation and Maintenance project. This full-time position is based in Jeddah and is critical for ensuring the integrity and performance of hydraulic systems within significant infrastructure projects.

The Role of Hydraulic Inspector

The Hydraulic Inspector will be responsible for overseeing and evaluating hydraulic systems, water distribution networks, and related infrastructure. The role requires solid experience in inspection and site supervision to ensure compliance with established standards and project specifications, contributing to the successful delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, monitor, and assess the performance and maintenance of water distribution systems and hydraulic networks.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of hydraulic works.
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and provide recommendations for improvements or corrective actions.
• Review design and technical documents related to hydraulic systems to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Participate in the testing and commissioning phases of water and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety and environmental standards on site.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in hydraulic systems, with a preference for experience within Operation and Maintenance (O&M) and Project Management Consultancy (PMC) projects.
• Previous experience working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is preferred.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of water networks, pipelines, and associated infrastructure.
• Familiarity with relevant inspection tools, equipment, and reporting methods.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills in English are essential for this role.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and involves working on a high-profile Operation and Maintenance project. The role requires active site supervision and coordination with various project stakeholders.
