About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a Key Account Manager I EXA Ceramics to join its team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on managing key customer relationships, ensuring their needs are met promptly and to quality standards, and contributing to the achievement of sales plans and targets within the Project Sales Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide solutions and answers to key customer requirements and queries to maintain strong business relationships and customer satisfaction.
• Actively engage with potential clients and promote new company products.
• Offer product suggestions and alternatives to customers during product selection.
• Upload relevant data to the C4C (Customer Relationship Management) system.
• Submit samples and necessary documents to clients, following up for approval.
• Suggest new ideas and strategies to enhance sales performance.
• Monitor competitor activities in the market (new products, prices, promotions) and inform the Project Sales department.
• Prepare and submit quotations to clients, diligently following up until approval.
• Attend team meetings to ensure alignment and stay informed.
• Monitor and follow up on collections with clients, coordinating accounts for bank posting.
• Provide weekly and monthly progress reports.

Operational and Strategic Accountabilities

• Take full responsibility for operations as per the job description and required deliverables, adhering to company guidelines.
• Anticipate problems and implement proactive steps to prevent them, making timely and proper decisions.
• Deliver required results promptly, meeting quality and cost standards.
• Contribute significantly to the area of operation, aiming to exceed business expectations.
• Translate corporate goals into business plans, then plan, execute, and monitor these plans (annual or development).
• Monitor plan performance, initiate actions to strengthen results, and take corrective measures.
• Manage and control budgets and expenses to achieve optimal cost efficiency.
• Develop the organizational structure based on current and future requirements.
• Ensure the availability of job descriptions for all roles and their deployment.
• Develop and coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities.
• Be proficient in relevant IT solutions and promote their full utilization.
• Uphold quality as a prime competitive advantage, acting accordingly.
• Adapt to new techniques, technologies, management structures, and business models.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and legal work environment in accordance with standard regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
