Join SANS as a Workplace Maintenance Engineer!
We are seeking a dedicated engineering professional to oversee and ensure effective delivery of all facilities maintenance activities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure compliance with service contracts and maintain high standards of equipment performance while ensuring the longevity and safety of facility assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance Supervision & Control: Provide comprehensive maintenance services (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil) and coordinate with relevant parties for corrective actions.
  • Evaluate maintenance needs and technical requirements; ensure KPI and policies are upheld by the maintenance team and contractors.
  • Supervise the maintenance team, ensuring timely closure of work orders and the quality of executed work.
  • Prepare Purchase Requisition (PR) as needed and conduct cost analysis on maintenance expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements and maintain records of all maintenance activities.

Contract Management:
Manage contractor relationships, monitor work quality, and provide necessary feedback.

Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all activities comply with local regulations and conduct safety audits.

Budget & Cost Control:
Assist in budget preparation related to maintenance activities, evaluate contractor invoices, and ensure alignment with contractual obligations.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
  • No prior experience in facilities maintenance or engineering is necessary, but a strong understanding of hard services systems is essential.
