We are currently seeking a full-time MEA Sr Tender Specialist to join our team in Jeddah or Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview: MEA Sr Tender Specialist

The MEA Sr Tender Specialist operates as a seasoned individual contributor, working independently with minimal supervision. This role is central to implementing daily offer development, bids and tender contract development, and contract management processes. The specialist drafts contractual agreements from preparation through execution, serving as a key point-of-contact for internal partners and developing strategic relationships to drive contracting opportunities for the organization. This position is responsible for managing tender and contract activities to meet targets, fulfill market demands, ensure timely bid submission, and maintain accurate bid records, working closely with the sales and marketing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist managers in implementing policies and procedures that facilitate the administration, negotiation, and management of bids, tender contracts, and service agreements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support offer development and bids & tender contract negotiations, and administer contracts under general supervision.
  • Direct workflow by coordinating pre-sales bids & tender contract activities, including drafting requests for proposals, reviewing and evaluating bids, and preparing responses for due diligence requests.
  • Utilize key performance indicators to evaluate pre-signature and post-signature contract administration and management processes.
  • Deliver operational deliverables and ensure the achievement of aligned goals set by leadership within expected standards.
  • Understand and apply Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with the team.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Required Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
  • Experience in an international company is preferred.

Important Note on Business Separation

Johnson & Johnson has announced plans to separate its Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. This planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, regulatory approvals, and other customary conditions. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following the conclusion of this transaction, you would become an employee of DePuy Synthes, and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. Details of any planned changes would be provided by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.
