Job Summary:
The Mechanical Technician will carry out routine and breakdown maintenance of all mechanical equipment associated with chilled water production, excluding chillers. You will be responsible for ensuring minimal downtime by performing preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers, gearboxes, valves, and air compressors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Corrective Maintenance: Respond to faults and failures reported in plants through the work order system and conduct site inspections to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance on all mechanical equipment and auxiliaries related to chilled water production and take necessary actions for repairs.

Qualifications and Experience:
• A Diploma in Mechanical Technology or Maintenance.
• 13 years of relevant experience.

Job-Specific Skills:

• Excellent technical and troubleshooting skills.
• Expertise in Mechanical systems and rotating parts.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, particularly tag-out systems.

• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 22 Kilos.

Job Purpose:
As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining various types of pumps, including centrifugal pumps, gear pumps, and metering pumps. Your role will include mechanical seal replacement, coupling, alignment, gearbox assembly, and maintenance of agitators.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on all installed pumps and valves according to O&M manual instructions.
• Address pipeline bursts and report failure points requiring pump maintenance.
• Inspect bearings and lubrication points.
• Replace mechanical seals as necessary.
• Conduct electrical testing of motors.

Requirements:

• 02 years of work experience in similar duties.
• A technical degree in Mechanics Technology.
