Medical Representative

About the Role

Hikma Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Medical Representative to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role serves as a direct link between Hikma and healthcare professionals, focusing on increasing awareness and usage of the company's pharmaceutical and medical products. The position involves sales and marketing activities, including field engagement, to meet specified targets under the guidance of a Supervisor/Manager.

Role Purpose and Context

The primary purpose of this role is to promote a defined set of Hikma products to customers and key accounts. The Medical Representative will adhere to established guidelines and utilize provided resources to achieve sales and marketing objectives. This involves continuous engagement with healthcare providers to share information and ensure product visibility in the market.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess performance against sales targets and activities, evaluating achieved goals.
• Develop professional relationships and organize appointments and events with Hikma customers, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospital medical teams.
• Inform and persuade healthcare professionals to prescribe, dispense, or use Hikma products to meet sales targets.
• Increase awareness of Hikma products through ongoing learning and information sharing with healthcare providers.
• Obtain current information on doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals, and prospect new customers to maintain efficient customer lists.
• Ensure proper product availability, territory coverage, and provide regular reporting and feedback.
• Monitor competitor activity and products within the assigned territory.
• Follow up on and review Hikma products’ market performance through client responses and other indicators, identifying new market opportunities.
• Prepare timely planning, feedback, and sales documentation/reporting for the supervisor/manager as requested, ensuring optimal territory coverage.
• Ensure compliant behavior in all correspondence, adhering to company rules and regulations.

• 0-1 year of relevant experience is required for this position.
