Operations Manager

About the Role

Middle East Mattress Factory Co. (Sealy Mattress Middle East) is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee manufacturing and plant operations at its facility in Jeddah, Makkah Province. This full-time role is central to aligning daily factory operations with corporate business goals, optimizing resource utilization, and leading multi-cultural teams. The Operations Manager will focus on strategic planning and factory automation to maximize efficiency, maintain safety and quality standards, and scale production capacity for premium bedding lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily end-to-end mattress manufacturing workflows, including quilting, foam cutting, pocket spring core assembly, tape-edging, and final packaging.
• Design and implement process improvements to maximize the output of automated machinery while minimizing raw material waste.
• Direct the utilization of Odoo ERP (Manufacturing and Inventory modules) to log processes, trace materials, and track overall factory performance metrics.
• Partner with procurement, plant maintenance, and logistics teams to balance supply chain requirements, mitigate material shortages, and schedule preventive equipment downtime.
• Manage plant operational budgets, conduct performance analyses, and drive cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality.
• Direct, mentor, and evaluate a multi-cultural workforce, fostering an environment of safety, professional development, and high productivity.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience in overseeing end-to-end manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically Odoo (Manufacturing and Inventory modules), is required.
• Experience in strategic planning, workflow optimization, and budget management.

Work Environment

This role is based at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Jeddah. The Operations Manager will lead and work with multi-cultural teams, ensuring a productive and safe working environment.
