Are you passionate about providing optimum pharmacy services to patients? We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Pharmacy Technician who will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacy team.

Job Purpose:
Provide patients and customers with the highest quality of pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and dispense pharmacy medication orders under pharmacist supervision.
  • Repackage oral dosage forms for outpatient dispensing, labeling appropriately.
  • Handle nearly expired medications and maintain necessary records.
  • Calculate drug amounts as required for prescriptions.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of hazardous materials.
  • Manage medication stocks and maintain adequate supplies in the pharmacy.
  • Ensure patient safety and safe medication management practices.
  • Report medication errors and adverse drug reactions to pharmacy head.
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatments.
  • Maintain stock of the Automated Storage and Retrieval Device and troubleshoot issues.

Continuous Improvement:
All employees are expected to engage in continuous improvement, adhere to safety protocols, and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements:
  • Experience: 0 - 2 years in a hospital pharmacy setting.
  • Education: Diploma in Pharmacy.
  • Language: Good command of English and Arabic.
  • Licenses: Valid pharmacy practice license as per regional health authority requirements.

  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, financial modeling, etc.)
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS knowledge is a plus)
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
