About the Role

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a dedicated Sales Coordinator to join the team at InterContinental Jeddah. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to the hotel's sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative tasks including typing proposals, letters, and contracts.
  • Collect and update data in relevant databases.
  • Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate sales staff.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and faxes.
  • Complete departmental monthly reports.
  • Coordinate details with other departments for guest services, such as VIP amenities, special requests, or specific service needs.
  • Liaise with outside vendors for services like floral displays or audio/visual equipment when necessary.
  • Follow up to ensure setup requirements align with client needs.
  • Respond to client calls and special requests, confirming final details, dates, times, and specific hotel room and meeting room requirements.
  • Maintain regular follow-up with clients and ensure information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Address and resolve guest requests and complaints to ensure satisfaction, escalating major issues or dissatisfied clients to supervisors.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned, which may include guest room tours, property tours, handling special guest requests, and maintaining calendars.

Qualifications and Experience

This role requires 0-1 years of experience. Candidates should possess strong administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
