About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Store Keeper to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are ready to manage merchandise and inventory operations efficiently. The role involves ensuring proper receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, maintaining high standards of organization and adherence to company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise by department, marking items for appropriate placement within the facility.
• Deliver merchandise to the correct departments and stack received goods on pallets or carts.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies, and notify management of low stock levels promptly.
• Receive deliveries, store perishables correctly, and implement stock rotation procedures.
• Inspect deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality, refusing damaged or incorrect items.
• Adhere to food safety and handling policies across all food-related areas.
• Organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash, placing them in designated storage areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, and complete required safety training.
• Follow all company policies, maintain a professional appearance, protect proprietary information, and safeguard company assets.
• Communicate professionally with guests and co-workers, fostering positive working relationships and supporting team goals.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, as well as sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, and stairs/service ramps.
