(Senior Legal Counsel)

About the Role

Rasan Construction is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its team in Makkah. This full-time role requires a legal professional with extensive experience to serve as a key partner for senior management. The successful candidate will be instrumental in safeguarding the company's interests, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing legal support for strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized legal advice and opinions to senior management, contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
• Prepare, draft, and review various contracts and agreements, including those related to commercial, investment, contracting, and real estate development activities.
• Represent the company before courts, judicial and quasi-judicial bodies, and specialized committees.
• Manage legal cases, disputes, and claims, developing strategies for their resolution and overseeing them through to closure.
• Analyze legal and contractual risks, proposing solutions and preventive measures to protect the company's interests.
• Monitor Saudi regulations, legislation, and bylaws, including updates, and ensure continuous compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Interact efficiently with government agencies, judicial and regulatory platforms, and complete related transactions and procedures.
• Offer legal support in negotiations, settlements, and dispute resolution through appropriate legal methods.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Regulations, or Sharia. Higher qualifications in a relevant field are preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of practical experience in the legal field, with demonstrated expertise in providing legal advice, managing cases, and handling contracts.
• Possession of a valid law license.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi regulations and legislation, particularly commercial regulations, company law, labor law, and regulations pertinent to the contracting and real estate sectors.
• Strong experience in drafting and reviewing contracting and commercial contracts, as well as managing contractual claims and disputes.
