About the Role
Rotana Hotels is seeking an Assistant Director of Front Office Saudi Talent to join its team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves supporting the Director of Front Office in overseeing all Front Office operations to maintain high service standards and ensure guest satisfaction.
Role Overview
The Assistant Director of Front Office plays a key role in managing the Front Office Department, focusing on guest experience and operational efficiency. This position requires a professional who can deliver high levels of customer service and contribute to effective solutions for guests, ensuring smooth departmental operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Front Office employees to ensure guests receive prompt attention and personal recognition.
- Communicate relevant Front Office matters to other operating departments, particularly Housekeeping.
- Establish and maintain effective employee relations within the department.
- Assist the Director of Front Office with employee-related tasks, including appraisals and consultations.
- Support the preparation of statistical, performance, and forecast reports for annual budget planning, strategic initiatives, and management information.
- Assist in continuously monitoring and controlling department costs to ensure adherence to budget.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of three years of prior experience in a Front Office Department within a hotel environment.
- Immaculate personal presentation.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems effectively.
- Knowledge of upselling and revenue maximization techniques.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Familiarity with Opera system is highly advantageous.
