The Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join the Housekeeping team at Jumeirah Jabal Omar in Makkah. This full-time role involves supporting the Executive Housekeeper in managing all housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction are consistently achieved across the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing all housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, laundry, and linen management.
- Monitor departmental productivity and staffing levels to ensure efficient allocation of resources in line with business demands.
- Support the preparation and implementation of departmental budgets, cost-control measures, and productivity initiatives.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with brand standards and quality requirements.
- Review housekeeping reports, room status updates, and operational logs, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding issues.
- Coordinate closely with Front Office, Engineering, Security, Laundry, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
Required Experience
Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in housekeeping management, preferably within a luxury hospitality environment.
Compensation and Work Type
This is a full-time position based in Makkah, offering an attractive salary paid in Saudi Riyals (SAR).
