As a Head Baker at Hilton, you will have the opportunity to ensure that breakfast and buffet offerings are prepared and presented to high standards, thereby enhancing the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure breakfast and buffet items are prepared within company guidelines and to high quality.
  • Supervise kitchen staff as required, maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
  • Prepare all mis-en-place for breakfast buffet and other meal periods.
  • Respond to guest queries efficiently to contribute to positive outcomes.
  • Monitor food quality and proper storage methods.
  • Contribute to controlling costs and improving profit margins.
  • Maintain good working relationships across departments and report any maintenance or safety issues.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations including food hygiene.

Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 in Culinary Arts.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and in teams.

Preferred:
  • Previous kitchen experience in a similar role.
  • Intermediate food hygiene knowledge.

3. Prepare monthly schedules in coordination with the supervisor.
4. Submit daily reports of activities.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a Master’s is preferable.
