About the Business Development Specialist Role
Marmara For Modern Software LLC is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join their team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is based in either Jeddah or Makkah and focuses on expanding the company's presence and client base within the technology sector. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in business development and a strong understanding of technical solutions.
Core Responsibilities
The Business Development Specialist will be instrumental in identifying and pursuing new opportunities for client base growth. Key responsibilities include cultivating and managing relationships with clients and partners, understanding client needs, and collaborating with the technical team to translate these needs into effective software, workflow, AI, and digital transformation solutions. The role also involves preparing technical and commercial proposals, managing sales cycles from initial contact to contract closure, and overseeing commercial negotiations within both government and private sectors.
Client Engagement and Sales Cycle Management
A significant aspect of this role involves the end-to-end management of client interactions and sales processes. This includes developing and presenting tailored technical offers and solutions, preparing detailed commercial proposals, and diligently tracking sales cycles. The specialist will also be responsible for monitoring commercial negotiations and transactions, ensuring all client and partner data is accurately managed and updated within a CRM system, and ultimately driving the achievement of defined sales and revenue targets.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. A solid understanding of programming, systems, cloud services, or numerical solutions is essential. The ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships is a critical requirement for this position.
Essential Skills and Competencies
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills. The ability to prepare comprehensive offers and effectively engage with clients across various levels is also necessary. Fluency in both spoken and written Arabic and English is a mandatory requirement for this role.
