About the Executive Sales Role
Four Points by Sheraton in Makkah is seeking an Executive Sales professional to join their team. This full-time position requires a focus on sales techniques to maximize revenue while ensuring guest loyalty. The role involves direct guest interaction, handling requests, processing reservations, and promoting brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve guest calls, requests, or problems by contacting appropriate individuals or departments.
- Utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue and maintain existing guest loyalty.
- Determine and provide complimentaries to guests as tokens of appreciation.
- Promote brand awareness both internally and externally.
- Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points.
- Handle all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
- Enter Marriott Rewards information into the appropriate software when taking guest reservations.
- Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
- Perform general office duties to support the Sales & Marketing department, including filing, sending emails, typing, and faxing.
Professional Conduct and Guest Service
- Assist management in training and motivating employees, serving as a role model.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs with genuine appreciation.
- Communicate using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately, and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships, supporting team goals and responding appropriately to employee concerns.
- Monitor the performance of others to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Read and visually verify information in various formats.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or *** equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of related work experience is necessary.
- No supervisory experience is required for this role.
- No specific licenses or certifications are mandated.
Physical Requirements
The role requires the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
