The Role of Fire Life Safety Engineer

We are seeking a Fire Life Safety Engineer to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity. This role is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience. The Fire Life Safety Engineer is responsible for designing and reviewing fire protection and life safety systems, including fire detection, alarm, and suppression systems, to ensure strict compliance with Saudi Civil Defense and Saudi Building Code (SBC) regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed code and standards analysis for fire and life safety systems.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments for various building and industrial facilities.
• Participate in site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project teams, architects, and contractors to effectively integrate fire and life safety requirements into design plans.
• Provide expert technical guidance and support to clients.
• Support approval processes with relevant governmental authorities.
• Recommend improvements to enhance overall safety performance and system reliability.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in fire protection, life safety, or a related engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of fire detection, alarm, and suppression systems.
• Familiarity with Saudi Civil Defense and Saudi Building Code (SBC) regulations.
• Ability to conduct code and standards analysis.
