Future Opportunity Finance Manager

About the Role

Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN) is seeking a Future Opportunity Finance Manager to serve as an embedded finance business partner for Operations. This full-time role is based in the Makkah region, specifically covering locations such as Taif and Makkah. The position involves providing financial leadership, strategic insights, and decision support to venue management teams, with a focus on driving profitability and cost optimization across entertainment destinations.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to provide dedicated financial expertise to operational teams, ensuring financial performance and strategic alignment. The Finance Manager will be crucial in translating financial data into actionable insights and influencing operational decisions from the initial planning stages.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage venue P&L performance by overseeing financial results for assigned destinations, analyzing revenue streams (tickets, F&B, retail, attractions), and monitoring operating costs to achieve EBITDA and profitability targets.
• Provide financial business partnering by advising venue and operations managers, participating in operational planning, and translating financial data into actionable insights to influence decisions.
• Analyze operational metrics, including per capita spend, attendance versus forecast, revenue per visitor, labor cost ratios, and F&B margins, and recommend improvements.
• Support budgeting and forecasting by collaborating with venue managers to develop accurate financial plans, incorporating seasonality, event calendars, and operational capacity, and providing variance analysis.
• Drive cost optimization by identifying opportunities to reduce operating costs without compromising guest experience, analyzing labor scheduling efficiency, and monitoring vendor costs.
• Ensure financial controls by overseeing cash handling procedures, monitoring inventory management and shrinkage, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and supporting internal and external audits.
• Develop and lead the team by setting objectives for operations finance analysts, providing coaching and mentorship, and building a high-performing team.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 6-7 years of experience in finance.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position located within the Makkah region, with specific operational responsibilities in Taif and Makkah. The role requires an embedded presence within operational teams to provide direct financial support and guidance.
