About the Host / Hostess Role

Rotana Jabal Omar Makkah is seeking a Host / Hostess - Saudi Talent to join its Food & Beverage team in Makkah. This full-time position is designed for dynamic and self-motivated professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are looking to develop their careers in the hospitality sector. The Host / Hostess is responsible for providing a warm welcome to guests and ensuring an efficient, courteous approach throughout their visit.

Guest Service Excellence

• Offer consistently professional, friendly, warm, and engaging service to all guests.
• Welcome guests to the assigned outlet, receive them, and escort them to their tables.
• Ensure guests are attended to and remain available as a primary point of contact.
• Assure the well-being of all guests by maintaining close, friendly, yet discrete contact.
• Possess thorough knowledge of all menus and ongoing promotions within the outlet to provide recommendations upon guest request.
• Reassure guests' satisfaction upon their departure from the outlet.

Reservations and Coordination

• Take outlet reservations, manage the reservation book, and answer telephone inquiries in a professional manner.
• Coordinate with the service team to make necessary arrangements according to the floor plan for reservations or blocking off reserved tables.

Outlet Operations and Support

• Set up the outlet in collaboration with the service team prior to business hours.
• Observe and maintain the cleanliness and overall upkeep of the outlet and its entrance area.
• Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of the outlet's guest database.

Candidate Profile
