Key Responsibilities:

• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical systems like ovens, conveyors, and robots. Address breakdowns promptly to minimize disruption.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical malfunctions, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions. Support during emergency breakdowns.
• Equipment Installation & Commissioning: Assist in the installation and testing of new equipment, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activity including logs and reports.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and reduce costs.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all maintenance complies with company safety standards and regulations.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to ensure smooth operations.

Key Equipment Handled:
Conveyor systems, paint circulation systems, curing ovens, robots, and more.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in automotive paint shops.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and robotics.
• Familiarity with TPM, CMMS tools, and lean maintenance practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Role Overview:
The Maintenance Mechanical Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the performance and reliability of mechanical systems within our Body in White (BIW) lines. This includes performing both preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute routine and preventive maintenance on BIW mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose and address mechanical issues promptly to prevent production delays.
• Develop maintenance schedules and procedures aligned with OEM standards.
• Ensure the consistent performance of BIW jigs and fixtures.
• Collaborate closely with the dimensional engineer for calibration plans.
• Monitor performance, document maintenance activities, and recommend enhancements.
• Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Comply with safety and environmental regulations.
• Train maintenance staff on best practices.
• Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and improve processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in automotive, particularly BIW.
• Hands-on experience with BIW equipment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and TPM principles.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities.
