Rotana Hotels is seeking a Marketing Executive to join its team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to the Marketing & Communication department, focusing on supporting the hotel's event and sponsorship initiatives.

The Role of Marketing Executive

As a Marketing Executive, you will assist the Marketing & Communication Team with the organization of various events and the crucial task of securing sponsorships. This position is focused on identifying and engaging with potential sponsors to cover event expenses and generate revenue for the hotel. The role requires a guest-focused approach and the ability to contribute creative solutions within the marketing framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and implementing an effective filing and administrative system for all matters related to sponsorship and event organization.
• Identify and maintain a general database of potential sponsors for all events and target specific ones related to each event separately.
• Negotiate and manage arrangements with potential sponsors to finalize advantageous agreements.
• Engage with potential sponsors and clients.
• Formulate all correspondence related to sponsorship proposals, negotiations, and other related communications.
• Assist in handling events with concerned departments within the hotel to ensure all branding for sponsors is as agreed in contracts.
• Support in maintaining effective working relationships with all members of target media, including electronic and print, local, national, and international, to encourage and maximize coverage of all events and promotions.
• Host members of the media, strategic partners, and top clients at property functions and events.
• Assist in the production of all promotional material, including the gathering of supporting data and collateral.
• Capture photographs of internal functions, banquet and conference functions, and VIPs.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in advertising, marketing, or communication.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The Marketing Executive will operate within the hotel environment, collaborating with various internal departments and external partners.
