About the Preseller Role at PepsiCo
PepsiCo is seeking a Preseller to join its sales team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to maximizing sales volume and ensuring customer satisfaction within the region. PepsiCo products are consumed over a billion times daily across more than 200 countries and territories, with the company generating over $79 billion in net revenue in 2021 through its diverse portfolio including LAY'S, DORITOS, CHEETOS, GATORADE, PEPSI, and QUAKER.
Job Purpose and Responsibilities
The primary function of the Preseller is to drive sales volume, minimize product stales, achieve distribution targets, implement merchandising standards, manage accounts receivable, and maintain high levels of customer service. Adherence to operating procedures is essential for maintaining consistent standards across Saudi Arabia. The role also involves providing market insights to supervisors to identify new sales opportunities and attending training to enhance professionalism and customer service. Daily debriefings with a supervisor are a key part of the role.
- Sell the full range of products to an assigned customer list, meeting previously agreed sales targets.
- Ensure customer service levels meet company standards through adherence to call frequencies and daily route plans.
- Conduct daily and weekly vehicle checks, maintaining the sales vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition, and reporting any defects promptly.
- Supply ready-to-ship customer orders on time, including all necessary delivery arrangements.
- Maintain individual customer stock levels to minimize out-of-stock situations.
- Implement agreed in-store merchandising standards, coordinating with supervisors and merchandisers as needed.
- Report relevant competitor activity to the supervisor.
- Perform daily reconciliation of all cash, cheque, and credit sales.
- Maintain a neat and presentable appearance at all times.
- Uphold a high standard of driving and comply with all traffic regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree or equivalent. The role requires 1 to 3 years of experience in sales and account building.

Required Skills
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills, effective conflict management abilities, and proficiency in sales planning. Basic accounting skills are also necessary.
