Job Responsibilities:

• Repair, maintain, and provide technical attention to all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems in the hotel, including freezers, fridges, ice makers, and chillers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Check the performance of refrigeration systems and components.
• Verify and maintain all door closing systems on walk-in coolers/freezers.
• Ensure routine cleaning of fan coil units and air-handling unit filters.
• Work on maintenance requests from all departments.
• Control the venting of CFCs to the atmosphere and perform overhauls on air-conditioning/refrigeration equipment.

Qualifications:

• A diploma in maintenance of refrigeration systems or in building services engineering.
• Previous experience in a similar role with a proven knowledge of operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Excellent command of English.

As an essential part of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining all refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment to ensure they are in excellent working condition through necessary repairs and preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report to the A/C and Refrigeration Technician/Foreman regarding daily work progress and issues.
• Prioritize guest room trouble reports and address all refrigeration and A/C trouble reports daily.
• Collaborate with peers to implement preventive maintenance and annual maintenance programs.
• Follow safety rules and regulations at all times.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in air-conditioning or refrigeration installation or maintenance.
• Proficient practical trade skills in fabrication, installation, and maintenance.
• Experience in hotels or hospitals is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret Building, Air-conditioning, Refrigeration, and Electrical drawings.
• Good fault-finding and repair skills for air-conditioning, refrigeration, and control systems.
